Hi friends! Or at least, the fact that you’re here would mean that you’re open to becoming one, hopefully. I’m only semi-desperate…

So in my efforts to distract myself from the loneliness, I’ve pursued many, many different forms of art. Some of which swept the surface of my deep and tangled mount of emotions; some required me to spiral myself into the darkest depths that eventually the pain of creating far outweighed the joy.

It was in between these seasons of attempting to replenish what the previous had drained from me that I picked up the paintbrush. This time, not with any expectations or outcomes in mind, but simply to occupy an internally loud afternoon.

And it worked. I didn’t have a canvas on hand at the time, so instead I opted for any blank surface I could find lying around the house. I painted my bestfriend/dog, Bailey, on a 3-inch wood circle, and ever since, Bailey has been my muse.

The rest is history- well, history in the making. But we’re here! Continuing the journey that made me realize what it’s like to be so dedicated and joyful in creating something that you forget about time and posture and all the scribbly worries.

All that’s to say: Hi, I’m Vivian, and I’m an artist. I paint, I create, and it is my ongoing wish to bring the giddiness of the little world I’m creating through art to you, as much as it has brought me.

Oh, and in case you were wondering about location, I’m currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, hoping to make friends anywhere in the world.
